The Challenge

During the first wave and second wave of Covid 19, a significant number of TA team members were temporarily unavailable because of corona infections. However there was an acute need for maintaining targeted resources to meet project requirements. There was a demand for onboarding across various projects.

Approach

After a detailed discussion with the delivery teams of three critical business units, a plan was put into action. ETA for all positions was agreed upon. Sigma Career Team was able to ramp up the number of recruiters for the account from 10 to 30 within a span of 2 weeks. Sigma team participated in the daily stand-up calls with the three BU delivery teams

Outcome

Sigma was successfully able to onboard an average of 30 HR resources per month for each of the business units, around 100 staff were onboarded every month for the account. The team was able to maintain the average TAT of 15 days from indent opening to onboarding.
